Rules for admission to SFU for citizens forced to interrupt their studies abroad in 2022

For admission in 2022, the Southern Federal University makes changes in accordance with the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of March 21, 2022 N 434 “On approval of the features of admission to educational programs of higher education that have state accreditation, programs for training scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel in graduate school (postgraduate studies) ) in 2022,” which approves the features of admission of citizens who studied abroad and were forced to interrupt it, including for applicants from the territories of the LPR, DPR and Ukraine. Admission will be for the first year .

For citizens who studied abroad and were forced to interrupt it, there is an opportunity to enroll in places within the limits established by the quota by the Government of the Russian Federation.

According to the admission rules, the categories of applicants specified in the Government Decree can provide the results of the unified state exam (if available), or pass the internal entrance tests of SFU .

When admitting these categories of applicants, inidual achievements approved by the admission rules will be taken into account, as well as documents on education and (or) qualifications with honors received abroad.

Students who have Russian citizenship and have lost the opportunity to continue their studies in higher education programs can transfer to SFU to fill vacant positions. After receiving the application for transfer, the academic disciplines that will be re-credited or re-certified are determined , as well as the period from which the student will be allowed to study.
