The action shooter, in which more than three million users are already actively involved, offers the possibility of a strategic approach in which, among other things, enemy players’ bases can be taken over. Elimination and Elimination Pro
In Elimination mode you are in a team with a maximum of eight players. There is an opposing team in Combat Arms. A number of kills necessary for victory are set beforehand. This can be between 30 and 140. The first person to reach the set number of kills wins. Elimination Pro is regulated similarly. Here, however, a number of rounds is determined beforehand. Whoever has the most rounds won wins Combat Arms. While in Elimination mode the players all have infinite lives, in Elimination Pro mode online players only receive a new life at the beginning of the next round.
One Man Army, Last Man Standing and Search & Destroy
One Man Army is a mode in which everyone plays against everyone. Up to 16 players can take part. The first person to reach 45, 30 or 15 kills wins. With Last Man Standing a mixture of One Man Army and Elimination Pro was created. A maximum of nine rounds are played. Everyone plays against everyone else, but only has one life. In Search & Destroy, two teams play against each other again. There can be up to eight players in each. A team has the task of placing a bomb in two places. The other Combat Arms team has to prevent this. If a bomb has been planted, that team has half a minute to defuse the bomb.
Bombing Run and Spy Hunt in the action game
In Bombing Run, two teams play against each other in Combat Arms and up to eight people can take part in each team. It is similar to Search & Destroy. However, the bomb is in a central location here. Both teams can get the bomb and arm it at their own point. The half minute to defuse applies to both teams. There are five packages to collect in Spy Hunt. Everyone is playing against everyone again. There are spies in whose respect the individual players also stick together. So they are allied against the spies. Anyone who is a spy in Combat Arms is enemies with everyone, including other spies. If a player manages to collect all five packages, he becomes a Super Spy. All other action players now have the task of killing him, but only have one life to do so.
Other modes in Combat Arms include Fireteam, Seize & Secure, Quarantine Regen, Capture the Flag and the Hired Guns mode introduced on August 10, 2011.
